Like many of you, 2020 has been a disruptive year for us. While Jeremy has been able to keep working, his schedule has not allowed him to take time off and we have not been able to travel this year.
.
We added an adventure pup, Max, who loves running with me, but doesn’t understand the purpose of selfies 🤣
On the other hand, the extra time at home has been helpful for my leatherwork business. I’ve been able to devote some much needed time to it and have been increasing my production of leather totes and notebooks. I’ve also started creating a leatherwork basics course for teenagers.
.
Between focusing on my leatherwork, creating my course, and not being able to travel most of this year and probably a good portion of next year, I’ve decided to do some pivoting.
.
While I could focus on the activities we’re doing closer to home, the reality is that we’re currently not doing a lot of activities outside of hiking at the local trails park.
.
Everything has a time and a season, and right now it’s time to step back from OurAdventuringFamily.com for a season. We still plan on traveling full-time, despite those plans being pushed back by financial considerations, chronic illness, and now the pandemic. When we start getting ready to travel full-time I’ll start posting again, but for now it’s time for a break. I will still occasionally post over on Instagram or Facebook, so you can find us there in the meantime.
.
Between now and when we do hit the road full-time, I’m focusing my time and energies on building my leatherwork business into a full-time income-producing venture.
.
You can check out my shop here and follow along on Instagram and Facebook. And if you have a teenager interested in learning the basics of leatherwork, sign up for my waitlist and I’ll let you know when enrollment opens in January or February 2021.
